Probably so, given that the same feds previously allowed a man to have two drinks as the equivalent of one drink for a woman, whether it's a drunken driving issue or an Omertà respect to avoid having a woman allow herself to be taken advantage of in a social situation where a man is more to be entertained and pay the bills for the party.
Although most women I see drink a lot more than half the alcohol of the average man.
