I have visited Germany many times, both on holiday and on business. I have always enjoyed being there...the scenery, the order and predictability of things, and the people I got to know. I have no problem with the German arrogance, which turns a lot of people off, but I guess I'm so arrogant myself that I don't let it bother me.

I go back any time I can.

I have never been to Germany, but my mother's cousin was an actress who starred in two silent films by G.W. Pabst there nearly a hundred years ago.

Wasn’t Hollywood started by German film directors?

I have really good memories, the Uber drivers were all Arab, but they were all very friendly and helpful and I noticed a lot of store employees were Arabs, in fact, most all of them were. The trains, the buses, all on time, all inexpensive, and everywhere you go there is a sidewalk and a bike lane, I have never been anywhere where it is easier to get around then in Germany. The country itself is gorgeous, especially Bavaria.

And the Berlin airport might be my favorite airport I've ever flown out of, the exact opposite of Heathrow, which I thought to be a real shithole, even though I've seen worse in the U.S..

If they are not Arabs, they are Turks.
