Meanwhile a Lithium Battery Plant is burning in Monterey California. All they can do is watch it burn.

Moss Landing the area of the Battery plant fire is about 19 miles south of Monterey, Ca. When you hold a product, say it has poison in it, does that concern you.

Do not eat Lithium as chunks.

Is lithium edible?

Lithium - Dietary & Your Brain | Cognitive Vitality ...

Lithium derived from food, water, and dietary supplements below 5 mg/day is typically considered safe, although the safety of supplements has generally not been tested in clinical research. Higher doses have serious health risks [9][10].Jul 26, 2016

Days. Weeks. Months. Who knows? And the added benefit is the smoke from the Lithium fire is very toxic. Sucks to be a Californian.

Welp, there goes 100 years of environmental clean up efforts. All done in by one state in a week.
You can't put the shit out, it burns at 5000°F twice as hot as to melt steel, and you can't throw water on it, that actually makes it burn more.
Released are fluorides, chlorides, and cyanides, among other things.

And yet, the people aren't allowed back to their burned out property until the governor is sure there is no environmental impact from what's left of their stuff. It is an incredible world they live in out there...:uhoh3:

Cyanide is a necessary component of lithium batteries. Lithium is strange nasty stuff. There isn't much of it around because it is such a weak metal, actually the lightest solid element in the universe--- most of it gets destroyed out there among the stars. And as I understand, this isn't the first fire this battery place has had.

Yep, California sure is doing an awful lot in helping to protect the environment and reduce climate change.
