It looks like conservatives aren't even in agreement with each other when it comes to taking credit for anything that has to do with how the information was obtained which eventually led to discovering bin Laden's whereabouts.
Actually, I thought it looked like true conservatives pushed McCain's ass from the boat when he decided to stop campaigning to go vote for TARP.
Maybe that was just me
The only way that man is a "Maverick" is he wears a suit and grips his stick.
he'd never stand a chance with Kelly McGillis, either
It's a funny thing about people who call themselves TRUE conservatives. They seem SO willing to embrace failure and disaster in the pursuit of embracing an ideological concept rather than accepting a working solution which could actually avert disaster.
For example, remember a few years ago when the US bailed out Mexico? Conservatives hated it and were against it. The US actually made a handsome interest return on the deal. But what would have happened to the border if the Mexican economy collapsed?
The same is true of GM, and Chrysler. Conservatives wanted GM and Chrysler to fail (which would have resulted in the loss of millions of jobs). But today, they're profitable again, and they're even rehiring many of the workers they previously let go.
And TARP? Conservatives seemed to want the economy to tank even worse than it did, just to satisty an ideological purity test.
Ideologues shouldn't get their hands on the reigns of gov't. It would be a disaster.
