BTW, I believe that parent was right. The book, Beloved, is not appropriate for a high school student. And saying that someone who objects to it is just out to ban black authors is the same nasty crap that Dems have been playing for years now.

African Americans need to take the next step and figure out that many of what is constantly reelected does them no favors. But the prevailing attitude that they are against "the man" condemns them and is a reason the taxpayer suffer.
