I haven’t read the piece yet, but, at this point, how the fuck can ANYONE not know what this GOP stands for? I mean…come on.
Free markets? Nope. Limited government. Uh-uh. Strong foreign policy? No, America first. Rule of law? LOL.

I don't completely object to this OP ED. But there's a couple of things in here that makes this too left leaning. The 1/6 statements and defund the FBI.
1/6 was just a pack of morons, with a handful of bad apples. They were rounded up, jailed and punished. Nothing really more than that.
Defund the FBI? No, just make it more equal. Did Trumps house really need to be searched? Maybe. But so did Hunter Biden's house. And when it was discovered that Hillary was misusing a server, so should hers. This was partially Trumps fault because according to Trump, "Lock her up" was just a campaign thing. A big lie to appease his supporters.
Is Trump a fiscal conservative? Not even close. He spent only $2 trillion less in 4 years than Obama spent in 8. "Operation Warp Speed," for a vaccine that wasn't tested for near enough time. Now the CDC's backtracking on his possibilities of heart problems in some.
Plus the unconstitutional FISA702, NDAA, and Patriot act. His misuse of eminent domain on our border. And a ton of other things I could point out. So I give the author of this piece some credit.
P.S. The one thing that's bringing so many people to the GOP is the left themselves. Trying their best to make all white people out to be racist. Shoving transgenderism down our throats. Getting deeply involved in foreign matters (Ukraine/Russia) that's none of our business. They're doing it to themselves.
We are down to supporting political parties because they're good. But because they don't suck as bad as the other one. And both of them still have a stranglehold on any 3rd party, regardless of how good their candidates are.
