I just heard it on FNC...Gaetz stepped down from being AG.

I’m not shocked. I think this was the plan. Gaetz resigns from the congress, Trump nominated him for AG.

He knows that he can’t be confirmed by the senate, so he withdraws.

Now his ethics investigation is buried and he’s no longer an embarrassment to congressional Republicans.
