Places I work now have went back to the policy where we only mask up if we’re actually going into a room to care for a patient who is in isolation for Covid or the flu or some other respiratory airborne.
Which is how it should be.
Having nurses and aides be forced to wear masks at all times even at the nurses station was always ineffective anyway. Staff would take the masks off or let them slide under the nose.
It was always just a farce for the sake of visitors and to look good on paper.
