Your real complaint should be with why the government subsidizes marriage to begin with. It’s amazing how many people suddenly have a problem with tax dollars accommodating marriage the second fags could marry.
You know it’s funny you should bring that up. The new USSC will be discussing why states have the right to selectively incentivize man/ woman marriage. The discussion will revolve around how marriage helps children. You remember that argument, right? Your cult used it (emphasis on “used”) in Obergefell.
Trouble is that once ALL the considerations for childrens’ benefits from marriage began to be discussed, the fascist court system under Obama suddenly got a case of laryngitis.
Happily the selection of two new sane Justices has cured that. Now they can begin to discuss the key benefit stolen from children re: Obergefell. Both a vital father and mother for the two types of genders always present in children.
You can’t revise a contract where both kids & adults share benefits, where the revision harms children psychologically. This is about a contract revision. A contract the States also shared with adults & children. Their benefit ( healthy kids for a healthy future society) was removed also without their assent.
As a further point in law, even if children were allowed to have separate representation at the contract revision, they are disallowed by the Infancy Doctrine to assent to any contractual conditions that are known to be harmful to them (put them at a disadvantage to their peers). There is no disputing that deprivation of either a mother or father statistically puts kids so afflicted to a disadvantage to their peers.
Come full circle now mdk, I hope you now understand why States are involved in the marriage contract. Because Alito, Roberts, Thomas, Kavanaugh & Gorsuch understand why. The problem most people have with fags marrying is that the children that lgbt said marriage was important to, that statistically arrive to it, and it created originally for their best shot at life, deprived children contractually, terms binding for life, of ever having a mother under their roof! That banishment is shocking to people and States.
