I do not like the Communist dictatorship in China, but I love the Chinese people and Chinese culture. The example of Taiwan, where the government is democratic and the standard of living is higher than on the mainland, demonstrates what the Chinese people are capable of. I expect China to achieve world hegemony by the end of this century, if not sooner. I hope that by the time this happens mainland China has adopted a democratic government.
