Nobody on this forum on anywhere on the internet has explained why America is the only country on earth that has federal voting by computer. A super power, largest economy on earth, most powerful military, most open border, but somehow you can't count ballots and rely on software to determine your federal elections.

Well, the 70 year old voter isn't going to understand the risks that the youngest voters and the new generation understand.

People have had their data stolen online on government websites, their systems and emails hacked etc. They will probably get to the point of wondering "how can I be so sure that this software process hasn't been hacked?"

That’s because we don’t have computer based voting for federal elections. The vast majority of voters are cast using paper ballots.

Something over 95%.

There are some isolated precincts and machines for disabled persons. But other than that we use paper.
