One guy who is apparently a manufacture of these drones said that the only reason for these activities is that they are looking for something, be it nuclear radiation or some other serious threat.

Who knows at this point, but there would be a reason government is keeping it secret. It's a really sensitive situation I'm sure and there isn't one perfect answer. America is known for transparency, but, there might be extreme situations that could place countless citizens at risk, very rare circumstances but they do exist.

The fact that I didn;t see the story covered in CBC or BBC (last I checked) probably suggests that the truth it is known by foreign intel agencies.

Not even the most staunch of libertarians I know of are about doing away with stop signs at busy intersections.

So you believe the FAA will remain fully funded? ... I'm aware there exists something called "Federal Airspace Regulations" ... aka 14 CFR Part 107 (FAA's indroductory page) ...

My first though was insurance companies looking for risk exposure ... can we blame them? ...

If the Trump Administration enacts a new regulation ... they will repeal two other regulations ... why I voted for him in 2020 ...
