We've lost too long a list of fantastic talents to drugs and alcohol. Drives me crazy.

I want Jim Morrison back.

Do business with cartel vermin and then you die. Don't feel sorry for them one wit. We all know what kind of vermin they made rich from their mindless self-indulgence and the youth they helped kill by promoting that degenerate culture. Most rock from the late 60's on was written for drug culture denizens.

Mark Lanegan from The Screaming Trees died this year too. I met him in the 90s at the Showbox Theatre in Seattle. Hung out with him and his family. My roommate grew up with him, so Mark would call my house all the time. I was a massive fan, so it blew me away every time he would call.

You left out Mother Love Bone! Andrew Wood died, which is the only reason why Pearl Jam was formed in the first place. Without his death, Pearl Jam would have never even happened and Eddie Vedder would still be working at a surf shop in California.

Speaking of Jim Morrison, nowadays any actor who happens who sing a little in a movie or tv show gets great accolades. In the movie The Doors Val Kilmer performed all of the songs himself....and did a fantastic job. I rarely ever hear anyone mention his great performance.
