Mandalay Bay owners sue VICTIMS of Las Vegas mass shooting

^^^ How can a person not know what a camp is?

God bless you always!!!

Holly

I thought he was staying in a hotel room, not camping. Your post is juvenile at best and incoherent at the least.

I am more concerned about the "had they known" part. That's insane!

I love it when people pretend to be stupid.

She made sense.
Has anyone figured out how the shooter got all those weapons into his room?

Carrying them?

You again???

My point was that if it was on video surveillance him bringing several weapons to his room...…...then they could be held responsible for not following up with him as to why, or not reporting it to authorities

1. Maybe nobody saw it.
2. It's not illegal to have guns in your hotel room. People travel with them, and don't leave them in their car because they get stolen.

Why should they be responsible?

why shouldn't they?

Because they did nothing wrong. If I stay at a hotel with a hand grenade in my suitcase, and decide to use it, how is the location I choose responsible for my actions?
The dude had just a tad bit more than a freaking hand-grenade, lol

The principle still applies. If that guy walked in with guns over both shoulders wrapped in ammo belts, the casino would have acted. They didn't know what was in his luggage. No one there has x-ray eyes.
People are in and out of my business all day. If someone walked in and started mowing people down, explain how I am responsible for their actions...

If he was in your business for a couple of days and your employees interacted with him all that time and even helped him bring his guns to the store.... um, yeah, you probably would be.

The thing is, Hotels have detectives and security employees who are supposed to be on the lookout for this sort of thing.

Again, I'd rather have the victims be able to sue the gun manufacturers and sellers who provided this guy with enough firepower to fight a major war... but I'll be happy to sue these clowns.

Being in a hotel for a couple days is the norm...for a hotel. I haven't kept up on the investigation. So are you saying that he handed rifles and ammo belts to the bellhops? And they said nothing?
This was not the man's first stay at that hotel. There was no reason to suspect anything based on his prior behavior. Hotel detectives do not go through luggage and have no idea what is in any of the suitcases that accompany guests. There are no metal detectors in hotels. Anyone could do what he did without detection.

So, let me ask you this. Let's say his arsenal was in Mandalay, but he went into the restaurant next door and mowed those people down. Do you get to sue Mandalay and the restaurant, or just the restaurant, or just Mandalay? How about suing the golf bag manufacturer that he hid the rifle in? Just how many would you hold responsible for this man's actions? Did he take a taxi?
Sue them too because, you know, luggage and all...

Set forth a code of conduct for gun manufacturers. You want those sweet, sweet government contracts for thousands of units? Then you'd better get on board for reforms to stop marketing to the crazies.
To say that the gun industry is marketing to crazies is disengenuous in my opinion. Sure the tobacco industry was marketing it's poison to young people and women in the form of brightly colored and flavored cigarettes but during WWII didn't the government stop production of certain industries in order to focus it's effort on weapons and things needed to support the war? The fact that crazies end up with firearms is a side affect which really should tell us that the problem is not th weapon but as always it's a people issue, in this case those whom are mentally unfit.

I have always advocated when wanting to remove weapons from people to start with those who are known to be a problem instead of casting a wide net which encompasses those guns owners whom have proven themselves to be responsible with their weapons.

It has not escaped my attention that several of the major offenders in this area were trained by our military.

OK, if I owned a hotel and a guest had rented a room for months at a time and was seen bringing case after case up to his room, I would damned well discretely check it out.

I thought that hotels had that responsibility; another reason to never stay in one if at all possible.

Really?

You think this ad was geared towards a sane person?

It's all about fucking over people you don't like. What a sad miserable little man you are.

Says the guy who supports Trump kicking down on brown people.

Hey, guy, it's always better to punch up than kick down. Punching up changes things. Kicking down just makes you feel better about your own inadequacies.

When Big Corporations start paying out big money for gun violence, they will advocate the change the majority of us want. So I am all for taking this hotel to the cleaners.

Ah, the baseless accusation of racism. please give a specific example of my racism or I expect a retraction.

Lol, "punching up". You want to oppress anyone who disagrees with you.

Another end run around the constitution brought to you by the biggest fascist on the board, JoeBitch.

You support Trump. Please go back and read what I said. Of course, all you trump supporters deny being racists... But you are totally cool with Trump throwing children in cages. But a big corporation screws up and dozens of people die... well, then you scream "Freedom". "Freedom" to you guys means those with money being able to screw over the rest of us.

54 people died and hundreds were injured because a big hotel let a crazy person bring an arsenal into his room. They will spend millions on lawyers trying to avoid paying these people for their pain and suffering.

Another end run around the constitution brought to you by the biggest fascist on the board, JoeBitch.

No Constitutional issue here. WELL REGULATED MILITIA. Time to get some regulations, like, 'You can't have a gun if you are crazy!"

Of course, that would remove the Gun Industry's best customers... but that's their problem.

Those cage photographs were from Obama's time in power. And I have little sympathy for parents that willfully put their children in a bad situation.

Race has nothing to do with it. if they came here legally I wouldn't have an issue. but keep up with the "Trump racist and anyone like him is racist nyar nyar nyar" bullshit, it just makes more people vote for him.

The hotel let a person bring luggage into a hotel. Unless there is a requirement for them to search it they are not liable.

The States have the right to a militia, the people have the right to keep and bear arms. Considering you want all guns banned, your views on this are worthless.

Guy, nobody voted for Trump who didn't vote for the Mutant Mormon 4 years earlier... the idea that you guys won anyone over while getting less votes is kind of silly.

The hotel let a person bring luggage into a hotel. Unless there is a requirement for them to search it they are not liable.

Tell you what, buddy, let's put it in front of a jury, and see what they say. They'll see a big old greedy corporation that let a guy bring a small arsenal in and kill lots of people.

The States have the right to a militia, the people have the right to keep and bear arms. Considering you want all guns banned, your views on this are worthless.

again, the majority of us don't own guns... and the minority of you that do keeps getting smaller.

Nice job trying to make an entirely useless point in response to my slapping you down, bitch.

Once again, emotion over the rule of law, but only when it screws over people you don't like.

Rights don't care about majorities, so go suck an egg.

Except it was nothing of the sort. The same dumb white trash bigots who voted for Trump are the same ones who voted for Romney because there was a negro in the White House... the same ones who voted for McCain after Bush wrecked the economy because a negro might get in the White House. You can't reason with these bigots who keep voting for the rich to screw them, so there's really no point in trying. Just wait for them to fall into the minority.... which they are continuing to do.

Once again, emotion over the rule of law, but only when it screws over people you don't like.

Rule of law is that we let juries decide these issues.... The Hotel was negligent... they need to pay out a shitload of money.

Rights don't care about majorities, so go suck an egg.

There are no "rights". Rights are made up. Here, let George Carlin explain it to you.

It's sad you see the world through a single miserable lens. People can't want something because they are different than you and think different than you, there has to be some nefarious evil reason. It's the basis of your worldview, and it's has to be a miserable way to go through life.

Juries base their decisions on law, not emotion. So you are a fan of jury nullification as well?

Lol, going to george carlin....

Naw, man, I just think it's odd that ANYONE would still be voting for the GOP after 2008, when they showed that if you work for a living, a working man voting Republican makes as much sense as a chicken voting for Colonel Sanders.

Insanity is defined as doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result..

You vote in REpublicans because the promise you they are going to ban abortion and get the queers. They tank the economy. A democrat gets in, fixes things, and then you guys vote in Republicans again and they do it again and again... and abortion never gets banned...

That's just fucking crazy.

All for it, if it creates a greater good. Frankly, most of us are getting tired of living in fear of madmen because you guys have a fetish. But the only way this changes is if it becomes too expensive for the big corporations to keep allowing it. So a big old jury award to the families, watch how fast other big corporations who are already bearing the brunt of the $270BB gun violence price tag get on the bandwagon.
