I saw this report on NBC evening news yesterday. LOL, I had seen the teaser and was really paying attention when the story came on. Being NBC, they didn't mention where this happened. I ended up searching it online before I found that it was the Philippines.

Wow! Never fired one, or even seen one in person, but I figured and RPG on a light SUV would have been more effective, unless possibly an anti-armor round, that is intended to blow through/burn through to produce globs of super hot globs of moulten armor shielding to bounce around inside an armored vehicle, but the suv simply to light to produce the effect?

The only thing like that I got to fire in Basic was the M72 Anti-Tank Weapon. The occupants of that car were lucky it was a glancing blow on an angle. If it had hit straight on, they all would have been incinerated.

Aw! A man of the Law! M72A2 LAW, Light Anti-Tank Weapon. I have ran and trained that range, several times, initial training/Qualification as well as refresher. Have an expert thingy, in a candy tin, somewhere around here.
