Mamdani Says Individualism Will Be Replaced By Collectivism

I never have, nothing in the last thirty eight years has happened to change my mind other than adding the GOPers among those unworthy of trust. I was late coming to that realization.
Yep, they got skeletons lurking in their closets undoubtedly that has compromised them or they are just greedy Sons Of Benches.

I don't give a dam how he operates, it flies in the face of those who voted for him that he had no problem with this guy when he met with him. I ain't into these damned games people play with our country. Either you battle these people for your constituents or you don't. I hope you are right that there is some kind of plan of action that he's working on, otherwise give the man enough rope so he can hang himself.
That's exactly what I thought of that meeting the moment I saw the presser...

Mandummy was in the sub servient position, standing while the real leader sat behind the Resolute desk...The look on Trump's face was one of no respect for the little ball licker/liar Mandummy....Trump will toy with him like a cat play's with a mouse.

This has the earmarks of a total disaster for NYC and the democrats in the next few elections. Is this the government you want? I shudder to think of what will happen if the democrats ever run the table and win the White House and both chambers of Congress.

Mamdani said during his inauguration speech that warm collectivism will replace rugged individualism because apparently every societal attempt at this throughout history has been a resounding success…

The next four years watching NYC is going to be quite entertaining for the rest of the country.

The Constitution says people not persons and we are muddling along despite the right's attempt to have the SCOTUS declare the Constitution unconstitutional. As for what happens in NYC, not my tent so not my circus.

Income inequality is a *****.
Well when you steal taxpayer's money and create a totally dependent class of people with it, and do so with the intent of getting them to vote Democrat forever, then what the hell can go wrong with that in America ?

The Republicans sitting back and not protecting their constituents money is the most dereliction of duty ever in the history of this country. How was it not criminal for Democrats to take taxpayer money and use it in criminal ways to create the dependent class needed to ensure their power in these elections ?????? DOGE has uncovered the crimes and mismanagement, but these culprits aren't even fearful of what they've done, and worse they retain their stature in government like it wasn't nothing what they were found to be doing.

If you listened to the Communist Democrat Muslim Mamdani's speech yesterday, and he is a gifted speaer, his promise was to replace the frigidity of rugged individualism with the warmth of collectivism.

A reminder of what that means:

.......there are some who imagine that socialism, communism, Liberalism, would take all of our worries away.
They shrug at the 170 million slaughtered to prove it.

One tends to think of the genocide of the Soviet Union when the concept is discussed, but the problems of communal rights have a more prosaic and daily consideration.

1.In Mikhail Zoshchenko’s "A Summer Breather,” a short story about families having to live together in the ‘worker’s paradise,’ we get a truer picture of communism in action.

“Getting your own individual little apartment is of course petty bourgeois pure and simple.
People should live in harmony as a collective family, not lock themselves up in their domestic fortresses.
People should live in communal apartments. Everything there's right out in the open. There's always someone to talk to. To ask for advice. To slug it out with.

There are of course some minuses.
The electricity, for example, can be a pain.
You don't know how to figure the bill. Who pays what.
Further on, of course, when our industry gets rolling, every tenant who wants to can put even two meters in every corner. Let the meters measure how much energy has been dispensed. Then, of course, life in our apartments will shine like the sun.

Well, but for the time being it really is one big pain.

For example, at our place there are nine families. One power line. One meter. At the end of the month it's time to fall in and pay up, and then, of course, there are some serious disagreements and now and again a punchfest.

Well, all right, you say: figure it per light bulb.
Well, all right, by the bulb. So one conscientious tenant turns on the light for maybe five minutes to get undressed or catch a flea. But another tenant sits there with the light on chomping away on something until midnight. And he won't turn it off. Although it's not like he's doing ornamental design or something.

And then there's a third one, an intellectual no doubt, who will stare at a book to literally one in the morning or later with no thought to the overall situation.
And maybe he'll even take out the bulb and put in a brighter one. And study his algebra like it's the middle of the day.
And maybe that same intellectual will even shut himself up in his lair and boil water or cook macaroni on a hot plate. This is what you have to understand!

There was one tenant at our place—a mover by trade—who literally went off his rocker on account of all this. He stopped sleeping at night and was constantly trying to find out who was studying algebra and who was heating up food on hotplates. And that was the end of him. Off his rocker.”

How did I know the bot was going to start a thread on this? I must be prescient. :)

Do you live an individualist lifestyle or collectivist?
I don't live in NYC....so, it doesn't concern me.
Again, as I've pointed out many times, campaign promises (and speeches) soon meet the realities...of actually having to govern.

This is what you people wanted. Enjoy.

I would say they both turned out as...both. Individual accomplishments combined with concern for the collective good.

A nice blend..wouldn't you agree?
So sweet.

You cant be an individual without basic societal concern. You can be a collectivist without a shred of individual concern.

Maybe some of our dipshit MAGAt cultists are rethinking their love of authoritarians with unlimited executive power.

But that would require the self awareness of something above a turnip.

The people in this country are some of the most confused people in the world now. It was caused by liberal leftist Democrats as a FACT !!!!!

The evidence is so obvious and full proof.

So now let's see if what is going on in fighting against dictators and drug cartels on the outside of this country, begins to turn inward in order to go after those who are criminal activist openly challenging the U.S. government, and this when the government is acting in lock step with the constitution, and in lock step with 177.000.000.00 U.S. citizen's who backs MAGA.
