male cats are funny

I have a few males cats over the years and I notice they like it when you hang out with them when they eat, pat their back or give them a scratch.

well my 6 year old barn rescue who recently gained a lot of personality arrived in my bedroom and he was seeking attention but that was not enough, he meowed at me and started waving me with his paw

I got up and he took off and I followed.......to his food bowl where he wanted me to hang out with him

after he was done he flew by me and flew up on my bed, laid down all happy and your bed is mine now.

funny thing is up until a few week ago he was scared to death of my bed and now he's on it constantly.

this all started when missy died, he knew her from day one, not best friends but she was around to "talk?" to

now he has nobody really besides my other 15 year old female cat who is 1/2 his size and he's known her his entire life too

she stayed away from him as she's scared he's so big even though he just chases her to try and play

well now both took over my bed and behave and get along, she was there first and now they are sharing

I love it when cats have markings like he has where one pattern just stops, solid white paws but grey and black arms is so cool
same with the feet

Sounds like a smart one.
Usually when they watch television they're pretty smart.
And computers.....Sam likes walking on my keyboard and swatting at my touch screen.

I had some smart cats but can't say they ever tried to attack my monitor, the again I never watched some nature video where they might think, I want some of that action

I have a male blind cat and he is in charge of me and my German Shepard... he is getting old now and spends a lot of time sleeping with my dog and eating... he loves TV and loud music... I think it makes him feel at home... lol

metallica, megadeth or iron maiden........who is his favorite?

apparent he feels very safe and secure with your dog and who would not.......it's a german shepard, right?

interesting he likes tv, he can hear it but not see it......kinda like daredevil, sense are fine tuned

this little guy wandered away and was in a wheat field in the fall about the be harvested
I was walking my then westie who heard the faint meow and pulled me into the field
I took him home, he would have got ran over or worse

no longer little at around 15 pounds but he was about a 3 pounder when I found him

These days we go for anything 70's but he likes rock ballads... and Elvis for some reason... and yes my dog and cat are inseparable...

good ear, toss on some zeppelin, black sabbath and deep purple and he's in a groove, judas priest if he wants to rock harder

When I play something he likes he runs to the scathpost and starts climbing... if you came into my house you would swear the cat can see... right now he is snuggled up to my dog in the laundry room... I don't know why but they like it in there...

when mine get wound up he goes and beat the shit out of his post, if he was not blind I'd say he would go nuts and climb up the pole.

if he gets a hair up his ass he flies up his tree so fast he rocks it and it's a big tree but he's a strong boy, I swear it's going to fall over one of these times

she was the run of the litter when people dumped 7 kittens on my property, my wife had to bottle feed her she was so small and weak and now she's 15 and doing pretty good, she outlasted her sister who was much healthier, go figure, weird

tilly left [RIP] and tika the runt, like night and day, tilly was the ball player and a tom boy, tika was the lap cat and mellow

tilly could see the yellow ones, she would pick it up, bring it back to me and drop it in my hand, throw, fetch repeat like a dog

only cat I've ever had which would do that, she was smart and one reason I kept her is I thought she was deformed on her hind legs and nobody would want her, turns out she had to grow more apparently
when she was a kitten I called her hopper at first because she moverd like a rabbit.......seriously
