In the 80's America experienced "Reaganomics" which strengthened the economy at the time, more recently we experienced "Bidenomics" which achieved continuous growth for 16 consecutive quarters with record low unemployment, all time high stock market and small decreasing inflation. Trump now unleashed "Maganomics" which has resulted in constant chaos, negative growth, and stock market collapse with global implications, which will be followed by certain recession possible a second great depression, and stagflation with increasing unemployment and worsening inflation. This is a debacle America may not survive. 😟

The 1970's were really bad but we survived.

You are going to be eating crow. Let's start with the fact that we are nearly 40 trillion dollars in debt not caused by Trump. Starting with Bush 2, we went from balanced to owing 40 trillion dollars. Covid caused a small chunk of that during Trump's first administration. Biden wanted to increase this if he won to another 5-10 trillion dollars. This happened because we farmed out manufacturing to other countries that then tariffed the U.S. and we did nothing to stop it. Same with farming including allowing China to buy up farms inside the U.S. under Biden.
So, what is Trump doing? What Obama and other Democrats have said in the past. Equal tariffs like on China. That's what they said but never did. Trump is doing it including finding waste, fraud and abuse in our Government. He's fighting anti-Semitism. All this will cause trillions more per year to come into the U.S. Treasury which we can use to pay off the 40 trillion dollars of debt. At the same time, Trump is strengthening Social Security and Medicare/Medicaid with this money.
All this means more jobs, less cost to corporations which leads to more profits and shareholders see the markets go up and up and up. So, buckle up and stay positive as the American economy will strengthen and the globe will stop taking advantage of us.

yer a fucking genius

Basically, the tariffs that other countries put on our products destroy American industries and jobs.
Trump is giving other countries incentives to lower or eliminate their tariffs on American products.
Other presidents were too cowardly to negotiate favorable trade agreements.
They allowed other countries to walk all over us.

Ignore people like the OP. Don't panic sell. If anything buy more. Relax.

What's happening is the shock of having to restart the patients' heart.

In this case the patient is our country.

"Buy high, sell low" seems to be the dimocrap mantra.

The American economy, as well as the global economy is, not to mince words, in the hands of the dumbest motherf***** to ever hold the office of the presidency.
We have always judged our leaders in any environs as intellectually challenged or not. Many are judged as intellectually Mensa. Yet we are nation in trouble today. Trying to keep everyone happy when we need a few dollars for each dollar that does that. If we live within our means in a real sobering way, perhaps we live 25% less than now. That is a general existence. It will be uneven, and we already have ghettos, rust belts and rural poverty areas. We were sold on the service economy. There is a good percentage of people not doing too good with that. And there is a need for trades people. High Schools need to include this in their curriculums. This will help out guys who are having some problems also. 21st century grunge can give people a great living. This needs to be part of our nation's vision to survive.
