It's troubling that the White House would call for 'disciplined' researchers over a tariff analysis. It's galling given the slapdash work that went into the tariffs.

It ain't rocket science to see that Trump's beloved tariffs are nothing more than a boondoggle tax on the American people! If Trump were intelligent, it would be easy to see why he won't let tariffs go, because it would make him look bad! Of course we know, that the vast majority of his supporters ain't the brightest marbles in the bag either. But those who do have some intelligence and can see the harm that tariffs cause, would do the nation a service by calling out Trump, writing letters of protest to the white House and speaking out loudly on Fox News. Of course Fox would censor and not broadcast it and Trump would disavow any letters as being from Democrats.

This president is out to destroy America, most likely at the insistence of Putin. MAGA should ask themselves why!

I have already paid a few hundred dollars in "tariffs" or "duty tax" on purchases shipped from overseas.

It's worth it. One thing it has done is make me far more aware of where my purchases are coming from.

And I have begun habitually looking for goods from America. Sort of the point.
