MAGA calls for boycott against Wal-Mart because heir funded full page ad supporting "No Kings day"

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Walmart is facing online backlash after a full-page ad linked to billionaire philanthropist and heiress of Walmart, Christy Walton, was widely interpreted as a thinly veiled critique of President Donald Trump and his "Make America Great Again" rhetoric.

The ad, tied to the upcoming “No Kings Day” on June 14, which is also Trump's birthday, Flag Day, and the 250th anniversary of the US Army, urged Americans to honor alliances, reject dictators, and engage in civic discourse. While it didn’t mention Trump by name, many saw it as a pointed political statement that has reignited tensions in an already polarized climate.

All they are doing is bringing more attention to No Kings Day. Wal-Mart may see a downward tick in sales, but face it, many of the MAGA devotees that I know nearly live at Wal-Mart. The heiress is not the company. She has a right to voice her opinions.
Where would Trumpers shop if they can’t shop at Walmart??

I don't know about that. There is a surprising number of young people in the movement. I think it's the liberals who are declining... they're not making the message to the next generation.
Young people don't have much to spend these days. If they boycott, no one will notice.

Corporations are beginning to see that the Trump MAGA loyalists are a declining minority group of US citizens.
Many can be spotted in their jacked up, rusty pickups, with their trump, MAGA bumper stickers. Heck, I even see a Prius plastered with crazy MAGA, trump, DOGE bumper stickers. I steer clear of them.

I thought you left loons hated capitalism and corporations like Walmart?

Thanks for telling us you're an economic moron without using the words.

Gee I thought you loved billionaires and especially Walmart. They did so much to off-shore American jobs, crater small businesses, and their reduction in wages for the retail sector was ground breaking. Using government entitlement programs and income supports to subsidize wages and increase profits to record levels. Genius stuff!!!

I guess even the owners of one of the most predatory and destruction corporations in the history of the republic finds Trump's antics too much to stomach.

Proving once again that you have no morals and no brains, you parrot the right wing talking points.

Every patriotic American should support No Kings Day.

That Trump Cult members don't comes as no surprise.

I've never stepped foot in a Hillary-Mart.

After a devastating Earthquake in southern Haiti, Hillary and Bill Clinton diverted taxpayer money that was earmarked to rebuild housing in southern Haiti, and built a duty free industrial park in Northern Haiti for a Korean Walmart supplier.

And in return for ripping off the US taxpayers on Wal-Mart's behalf. Alice Walton donated $353,000 to the Hillary Victory Fund.

You don't get much scummier than that.

The "Maga supporter" calling for a Walmart boycott is someone called "libs of Chicago".

Sounds like bullshit.

Particularly since the Walton family heirs don't even run the stores nowadays.

Agreed! But enemies are easy to find nowadays, if only we look hard enough. Freedom of speech and opinion is being challenged as is Due Process.

No need to boycott Walmart. The heiress is a wealthy elite liberal pushing this. She has nothing to do with management operations of Walmart.

The key to being wealthy and avoiding the class warfare attacks from the Left is to adopt their platforms and “push” their agenda. As for “no kings”, the Left would have no problem with a single person or elite few having all of this power provided it is one of their own.

I only go to Walmart if I have to.

15th post

Personally, I prefer Family Dollar, but Walmart has a lot more selection.

What I like about Family Dollar is that the intercom reminds shoppers on a loop that Shoplifting is against the law in Ohio.

I know a LOT of people, GOP, Dems and Independents who are supporting the Trump agenda, most especially closing the border and deporting the illegals.

Not a single one has even suggested boycotting Walmart.
