Many of us have been telling you not to underestimate the Iranian people, their intelligence, cultural fortitude, and determination. You destroyed their Democratic leadership and thought Iran would be under your heel forever. Yes, Democracy is what made them weak and vulnerable to the treachery of Fake Democracies from the West. But Iran realised their mistake and vowed not to make the same mistake twice. They slowly and clandestinely rebuilt their country using the tactics of Islamic fortitude and so beat the shit out of the West, ejecting them from Iran. The US considered it a flash in the pan and immediately set about to deal a blow to Iran just as they had done in 1953. But Iran learnt its lesson and hasn’t been laying its cards on the table as it did during its Democratic era. No, now it keeps its card held close to its chest and playing by Western rules. They have learnt well! They may never again trust the lying, cheating, and phoney Western Democracies.
Ignorance by censorship and propaganda is the culprit. The terms liberal and conservative follow the two-choice pattern that bluff the population in the same way the two-party system does. But I think you may have taken a wrong turn. The media hasn't failed. It has succeeded in its goal of prejudice. Does it fail journalistic principles? That depends upon your idea of what journalism ought to achieve. Should it provide facts so that you can decide for yourself or should it make your convictions for you?
