Lying, Cheating, and Phoney Democracy

Kicking the shit out of the Americans in the Straight of Hormuz is a lot easier than we are being led to believe. It’s like shooting fish in a barrel. And then there are the sharks. You know, the ones trawling the corridors of insurance companies. "God’s chosen people" might be the Iranians. :eusa_dance:

What has that got to do with me?

I have mixed feelings about entanglements abroad.

Take South Korea, for example. Had the US not intervened there, the entire country would have suffered under Rocket man all these decades.

Was it worth it?
The South suffered under a corrupt Dictator and later for decades as well.
The North suffers under a Communist Dictatorship since 1948

So why not just leave it up to the people that it concerns?

If a competent Pentagon staff would have planed for this war - the Hormuz Straits wouldn't pose an issue.

The question would rather be - is it worth the dead (on all sides) - that would occur in such a conflict.
A conflict that IMO will be unavoidable - since Iran will not forget the attacks by the USA nor Israel

The USA imposing a 47 years lasting sanction onto Iran - crippling their economy
The USA making use of Saddam to keep attacking Iran - 1982 - 1988
US operation - Operation Nimble Archer in 1987
US operation - Operation Praying Mantis in 1988 incl. shooting down an Iranian airliner causing around 300 dead.
US - TACO withdrawing from the JCPOA in 2018 - whilst even imposing more sanctions
US - Killing Qassem Soleimani, 2020 in Iraq.
US - Israel bombing Iran in 2025,
US - Israel bombing Iran in 2026

Just my 2 cents.

Am I understanding you to tell us that the Communist dictatorship is not corrupt?
Korea had been controlled by Japan and when the war ended, Japan not being in control engaged in a civil war. The 38th parallel was the boundary. This did not please the dictator in the North, so he invaded. We saved South Korea from his control.

Not only unable to "forget" but keep stacking up in real time.

And let us not forget that the 47-year mark is from the time that Iran freed itself from Western tyrannny. That is to say that 47 years ago Iran didn't commit some sort of injustice upon the West. Iran merely ended the injustice the West had been imposing on Iran. "You're going to pay for that!" is the logic we are suppose to agree with?
Just my 2 cents.
Much more that 2 cents.

Chicken-fee in regards to what capitalist countries get out of corruption

What? please do get a history book.

It pleased non of the Korea's, both wanted reunification and implemented it into their constitutions. So Kim struck first and had it almost done within 7 weeks - then the US came in and a 3 year lasting war erupted.

If the North had gained the South - you can be sure that a Kim dynasty would have never made it - furthermore they are Asians and as such Communism in Asian countries doesn't survive long. See China - just 32 years. Took them 25 years to rebuild and set up a functioning economy and social order - then $$ greed stared to come in.

So why can't the USA stay out of other countries problems and issues? Especially since 1991 when their only Communist rival ceased to exist.

Sounds like you appreciate North Korea.

This is definitely true. Let's take a look at the MIC and the Pharmaceutical Sector.

Such commodities are not to be found in his "neck of the woods".

Correct.

I agree with that opinion.
