It is the law, and it is a correct law. It has nothing to do with "Gestapo", and we saw in the 2024 election how big that dumb idea went over.

That's just what the Los Angeles City council has one by unanimously passing a sanctuary city law.

With Trump and his DOJ taking over 2 months from now, and having all 3 branches of govt on their side, they are likely to enforce every single law pertaining to immigration that's on the books.

I suspect that if these fools think that as city councilmen, they are untouchable by the law, I think thy are going to find out what a big mistake they just made.

I think arresting the city officials is a bad look. I'm not saying that they don't deserve it but in some ways Trump could be playing right into their hands.

I think the federal government will try financial pressure first. Not just funds slated for the city but illegitimate payments coming from the federal government going out to illegal aliens can easily be interrupted by the executive branch.

Removing the gravy train is the key to getting them to leave or to trying to become real citizens by getting a social security number and working in the system under taxation.

Going after the employers and making them pick up the medical bills for all the people that are working for them them that are not citizens. That's the way to do this thing.
