All that said, the modern state of Israel didn’t come to be under the League of Nations, anyway. It was a plan agreed to by the UN just after WWII.

Did the questionable practice of outsiders drawing lines on maps to create the original boundaries of Israel come with some discussions about relocating other people who were already there? I don’t doubt it.

Thank you, I mistyped the name. The archive document does not say "Jacob" that was an error on my part. The person at the meeting was was Major (Lionel) Rothschild, you can read about him here.
