Under Islamic law everyone who isn't Muslim is a second class citizen who can be oppressed and persecuted, so of course they resent the state of Israel.

Bur however much they miss the days when Muslims could look down on all non Muslims, they stopped making war on Israel because there was no benefit in it for the people. Today, only Iran and its proxies, and you, are crazy enough to be willing to sacrifice the lives of their people in the vain and futile hope of turning back the clock to the time when Muslims could oppress and persecute non Muslims with impunity.
