Animals are not gay. Homosexuality does not exist among animals. However, when deprived of a suitable mate an animal may engage in homosexual behavior.

Was taken to Kharkov Zoo as a treat many years ago by an ardent Boris or an Igor . No deliberate cruelty I feel sure , but it was so awful I nearly walked . Trust our Russian heroes are going to liberate Kharkov zoo when they throw out those beastly Nazis . An old memory came floating back .
