I see. It's a great concept, but this is Detroit. Detroit, the city that continued to decline after the automobile industry collapsed, declared bankruptcy in 2013, has a history of mismanagement of funds and a significant decline after the 2008 housing market catastrophe.

While I understand federal and state funding is attempting to revitalize Detroit, I have little faith it'll produce the desired outcome.
