Lizzo Says Whole Country Will Look Like Detroit if Harris Wins

Yeah but the renovation still has a long, long way to go.

Not a wise choice of words on Lizzo’s part
They may have a ways to go, but Detriot is way better off than a whole lot of rural shitholes that Republicans don't want to talk about. I see them every time I get on the highway in my state. And if Lizzo is from Detriot, she has the righ tto be proud of her home. You don't do this, but it gets real tired when people try acting like a comment from Trump about something is the absolute truth.

I guess they’re trying to appeal to the people of Detroit directly. It is the biggest city in the state.

At this point, both sides should be focused on rallying their bases to turn out the vote.

That would be a big no from me dog.

Anyone posting an actual picture of themselves as their avatar make sure its never been used anywhere else, like facebook, because people like this poster will be able to reverse image search your photo and find out who you are. Make it a picture you took yourself on your phone and it’s never posted anywhere else.

Detroit is crumbling with a ton of abandoned buildings.
Yeah so?

Kind of like dozens and dozens of other Rustbelt cities that got left behind when the economy shifted back in the 70s?

There’s cities like this in both red and blue states across the Midwest. Indiana and Ohio (red states) got their fair share.

They’re all working hard to make a comeback, to varying degrees

This is not the flex she thought it was. Detroit is a complete hole in the ground. If I were the Harris people I’d be scrubbing this from the Internet.

When I tried to explain to people overseas years ago that I lived in Michigan they often had puzzled looks. When I said, "fairly near Detroit", their response was uniformly shock and a little disgust. This was late 80s, when I was a teen.

Moved to this area in 1995. It was a hole. Detroit, I mean. A major network's ad line was "Stand up and tell 'em you're from Detroit". I mocked the heck out of that at the time. Detroit was a disaster.

But others are right, and I have no reason to lie about this. It's amazing the comeback it's making. Our son is in his late 20s and he has friends who live there. The Midtown area/sports complex area is thriving. Not just for entertainment, but people moving back in. Detroiters really are a gritty crew (just like our Lions).

The reputation will last a long time, sadly, but it is coming back.

Then cite a source that isn't your book.
If I have a book that's pubished, the sources are accurate. I've seen more than you and your parents have seen. All you're doing at this point in your life is repeating what mommy and daddy have told you..
