Zone1 Liturgical colors and festive chasubles

what do you think of those?

do you know those changing colors?

i think they are a pleasant part of church services 👍
.

After just over a year as a Catholic, I am finally beginning to understand the liturgical colors.

My priest always talks about the importance of the liturgical colors and the theological significance of the designs on his chasubles, during his sermons. He's a good teacher.

Like the red eggs on the chasuble he wears for the Feast of Mary Magdalene.

For Harvest Mass, he wears a chasuble that's adorned with stylized images of grapes and wheat.

I just found this image of a chasuble ostensibly worn by Saint Anthony of Padua.

very beautiful indeed! 👍😍🌹

.

Zebra, do you have a preference between the old traditional fiddleback chasubles and the more common ones that we have come to associate with the garment?

I don't really care for the fiddleback design, but respect it for its historical significance.
