I started watching the Florida team during the US finals. Cool group of kids, they beat Taiwan in extra innings. USA! USA! USA!

Lake Mary had many chances to put the game away. It was good that they won. They were the better team yesterday.

I hope they bring automatic balls and strikes to the LLWS and reline the batters boxes between innings. Balls 8 inches outside are not strikes and the batters shoe should never be one inch from the plate. But yeah it was a great series I always enjoy watching the LLWS. It's mind boggling how hard it is to make it through all those games to get to Williamsport.

For years I have seen some of the worst umpiring that can be had. The kids must be warned about this before it starts or even if they are at the regional level. Taking the bat out of the hands of a kid is brutal.
