Near-death is just that, near-death. Tells us nothing about 'life' after death.

How medicine and science define death has evolved over time as better machines got invented, and more sensitive machines could detect fainter signs of life. What was 'dead' 150 years ago would only be a code blue today. Misdiagnoses of death were such a problem way back they were building coffins with strings attached to bells above the grave in case they buried a live person who came to already buried.

Until somoene with some balls replicates "Flatliners" for real, death may remain a true mystery. :)

It is an amazing thing when it happens and provides insight into how we continue on when the terrestrial part of us gives out. We never cease to exist. The difference between death and near death involves the breath of life. In death it returns to the Father. In near death it has not yet left the body even though our spirit can. And it removes the mystery of what happens when one dies.
