Liens on their property

Maryland is going to start treating the trump administration like the deadbeat debtor they are. The feds withheld million of dollars in school funding at the last minute so they will be holding back payments and placing liens on federal properties to make up the difference.

Seems like an almost diabolically good plan to me.

Lein on what property, federal buildings? Have they been delinquent on their lease payments? If not, this isnt going to work

OP has a tendency to start threads using its own opinion, backed up by a "source" that agrees with it.

Confirmation bias Is the favorite tool of the cult for validating itself.

State law doesn't supersede federal law no matter how much wacko leftists like you want it to.;
Eeeh...I have to disagree here. I pretty much try to side on the cotus. I believe in delegated powers, as the 10th amendment says. So in my book, if the cotus doesnt give the power to the federal government, then the states power is supreme.

Now, this might very well violate some Maryland state laws, or some equal protecrion laws.

They just all want to believe that they can make up a thousand new ways to hurt President Trump.

It's their reason for living.

Remember this sad ass politicians want everyone on bikes and busses so they close 35mph car road lanes and send representatives to foreign land to socialized with criminals

This appears to be the bill they are discussing. They are working the angle of, the federal government "owes" the money to the state, so they are going to try and act as a collections agency by putting liens on federal buildings.

For starters, im not sure if the money is "owed" to them, but let's just say it is. They intend on withholding payments they "owe" to the federal government. So I guess this means, then, that the federal government can then place liens on the states buildings?

Nobody can do any of that.
