I thank God over and over that I escaped Seattle, and then Washington state, and that there is no longer anyone in Seattle that I care about.

I felt this happening in 2012, when I returned to the city after being gone for six months, and there was a dreadful, dark cloud over the city.

I had spent my entire adult life there and loved the city deeply, and I still mourn for the city.

I am from Washington state originally left when I joined the Marine Corps in 1979, except to visit family havent been back, I am from the east side so mostly conservative, the Seattle Tacoma area rule the state. it is worse than California in some ways.

I am now watching a segment on Newsmax about this crime. He was released and attacked an elderly man. He was again caught and now claims to be a woman. He refuses to shave his beard. His attorney is fighting to force the prosecution to use his pronouns.

I have no idea if this craziness will ever get into mainstream news.
