Leftists feel comfortable putting this out there bc they assume this is 1. normal and 2. we all feel that way about a president we don't like.

They cannot wrap their heads around the fact that we might not LIKE Biden--in fact we might not be able to stand him--but we don't want him assassinated, shot, hurt, etc. We just want him defeated. Fairly.

It seems obvious from the liberal reactions in social media, including in this forum, that many liberals deep-down really wish that the leftist gunman who fired at Trump had not missed. Most of the time, in the same breath where liberals voice an obligatory, measured condemnation of violence, they immediately turn around and say, or clearly imply, that Trump had it coming.

They ignore Trump's many, repeated unequivocal condemnations of violence and focus on a handful of cases of overheated rhetoric in order to falsely accuse Trump of encouraging violence. One can make the same case against many Democrats who have made intemperate comments that clearly seemed to endorse violence against Trump and other Republicans.

The gunman was a Republican like you.

Everything you say that has been done to trump is because of what TRUMP has done. Trump has calledfor violence all the time. So he got violence.

You're walking down a dark path there. You do realize, don't you, that many a democrat routinely uses violent rhetoric, right? Do they deserve to be shot at?

Heck, even Obama talked about bringing a gun to a fight. Does he deserve to be shot at?
