For those on the left who insist on having a 'conversation' about hot-button issues--remember that's all Charlie Kirk wanted to do.

"Let's have a conversation."

Charlie Kirk wanted to 'have a conversation,' and he got shot dead for it. Is it a conversation you want, or something else? Say, maybe, total capitulation to your own views of the world?

Think about that for a minute. Please.

I've watched several videos of Kirk's "conversations" over the last few days.

They are the standard "I'm 100% right, you're 100% wrong" crap coming from both him and the liberal.

That's a debate, not a conversation. Nothing constructive is created in debates like that. No common ground or new ideas come from that. Kirk was just another hardcore partisan ideologue. Both ends have plenty of them.

Furthermore, you have seen only a tiny snippet of his conversations with college kids all over the US.

He's challenging them to debate him. That's it.
Not always. Some have come up to him asking him for advice. There was one where a college boy comes asking for marriage advice, he describes how he and his prospective deal with politics, and how they can't even agree on the same political news channels to watch, and he bluntly tells him not to marry her, simply for that reason. If they can't agree on the news channel, then they may not agree on much else, either.

There’s a saying:

I think you are wrong on a several levels.

1. I suspect your biases are tilting you against giving him credit.

2. Even if you are correct, the very act of showing the kids the OTHER side of the divide as real people with real, thoughtful positions, instead of the comic book villians that their teachers and media tell them MAGA is, was vaulable.

3. AND, it is worth noting that, clearly, many these kids, have never questioned or HAD QUESTIONED, the positions handed down to them by their lefty authorities. Their ability to think critically, is non-existant.

4. AND thousands of kids personally had to deal with him, realizing that he was a real person and then saw him murdered by a hard core lefty and now see their allies celebrating that. Some of them, hopefully will wake up.

Ahh, very perceptive. Stick around this thread today, you may find it's worth the popcorn.
I would really enjoy seeing or having an actual conversation on the issues.

Good luck finding anyone (especially on the left) who will talk to and with you, instead of talking at you, past you and over you.

No. Rejected. The time for "conversation" is over. And I DO NOT, and would never, mean that in a violent way. I mean, they only want a "conversation" now because they know they have been utterly crushed.

We wanted to talk years ago and they called us racist, homophobic, transphobic, xenophobic and every other name you can imagine. They hate their own game NOW? Aw

Careful, so that we don't fall into the same traps they did. They refused to converse with us, now the right are refusing to converse with them?

Here's an idea. Seek out the moderates, because believe it or not, there are. Don't broad-brush the left for its extremist wing. We had enough of them doing that to us.

Ignore them at your own peril. You give them ammunition, such as "they don't want unity, they want capitulation!" and such. You have to disprove their lies at every turn, anticipate their lies, and rebut their lies. Don't give them any proverbial quarter to make you out as the villain.
