Of course we observed a moment of silence this morning and talked to the students about it, but It's difficult to convey the weight of that day to people who weren't anywhere near born yet. For them it's a historical event and a topic their teachers bring up each year (for usually no more than a day), but for those of us with fresh memories of that day it is something else entirely.
