I have a lot of guns, and of every variety. I have, at least, 2,500 rounds for each firearm. Not each caliber, I mean every firearm. I own three .45 caliber pistols. That equates to 7,500 rounds.
Three shotguns, four 9mm's, two .38's, a couple of .40 cals, two AR-15's, four .22 caliber weapons; the list goes on.
I've always bought ammo as I had the opportunity. The fact that I currently have so much isn't because I'm stocking up for Armageddon, but because I've always just purchased it when the opportunity presented itself.
I was in Valentine, Nebraska about a week ago and the local pawn shop was selling Ziplock bags of 50 rounds of 9mm for $24.99. Down in Florida, boxes of 50 rounds can sell for up to $80 a box.
It's best to be as prepared as you can be...
