We’ll see. My guess is people will like lower grocery costs, lower gas costs, peace in the world, and illegals deported and border sealed.

If he actually delivers, but there’s a lot of headwinds here. For starters, he will need to basically abandon his policy proposals about deportation and tariffs. He mostly did last time around.

You don’t deserve to be confident when he doesn’t actually have a plan to do this. Moreover, we are facing serious headwinds. The market is in a pretty significant bubble and debt is pretty high.

That’s why Elon Musk says we are likely to face short term hardship if they follow through. I think it’s likely that he won’t.

I'm not sure we disagree but I doubt the vast majority of Americans have any direct interaction with illegals, crime, or DEI. On the other hand, they see the price of groceries on an almost daily basis.

The number of people affected by economic issues is huge.
