In 1917, the Russian Revolution resulted from years of violence by leftist agitators. They were hoping for an "overreaction" which could be used as an excuse to unseat the existing government. The resulting coup was initially sold to the public as a "solidarity movement" for all people, but its real purpose was to install an even more dictatorial regime led by these agitators.

This is a high risk strategy that can result in the existing regimes eliminating their opponents by force, as happened in Spain and Germany in the 1930s. This seems to be happening in the US. As the number of leftist attacks and assassinations grows, the government's reaction to these events will become increasingly harsh.

Is this what the leftists want? Ironically, the answer may be yes. In their dreams, a successful revolution would allow them to create a new egalitarian society which will also benefit them personally. If their revolution is unsuccessful, they will have the satisfaction of demonstrating the "right-wing" repression they have always claimed hiding in the shadows.

This presents a dilemma for freedom-loving Americans. Will they hold on to their small government beliefs and let the leftists continue to terrorize the population, or will they endorse stronger measures to control them?

Only history will give us the answer.

As opposed the Fascist playbook. 47 is working hard at rigging the election.

Statistically, if you have enough monkeys pounding away at enough typewriters, one of them will appear to make sense.

Most of the left aren't calling for a revolution.
