The MSM or legacy media, has been suffering atrophy in recent years. Their leftist, Marxist, propagandist bubble is deflating at an alarming rate. Kirk's assassination has flushed out the truly radical leftists in their midst. At this point, they're just living their own lies as they bleed consumers.

You are going to need a healthy media ecosystem with different viewpoints and debate. The far-left who promote trash and China propaganda such as MSNBC hopefully suffer losses of viewers, CNN has decided for the last couple of years to try and move to the middle.

I can handle debate on issues across ideology. If one cannot back up their views than their views are just psychosis and all sides are guilty in fairness.

What would be great would be a return to objectivity but Bush jr. apparently eliminated that obligation. It hasn't been healthy for Americas success in my opinion. Everyone has their own alternative reality, from Fox, Newsmax to MSNBC.

One of the MSMs had Bill O'Reilly on in an interview with one of their Journalists Major Garrett on the Kirk shooting. CBS is now owned by Skydance and their vision is to steer clear of elitists and radicals. The CEO David Ellison wants to take it back toward 'performance-based culture'.......

Speaking of psychosis, present evidence of the so-called far left media promoting China. The ending of the Fairness Doctrine during Reagan killed objectivity.

The MSM are still corporations and need to make a profit catering to the desires and needs of their target audiences. They must react to supply and demand opportunities. The real question is: is there a viable market for leftist media? How many people really want to listen to Joy Reid or Joy Behar and Whoopie? Probably less than a million, in a country of 350 million (includes illegal immigrants.) I read a surprising article that showed about 25% of the viewers of FOX News are democraps because they just can't stomach the "Joy Reids" of LW media. I know the leftists here feel entitled and think the country should be forced to watch their Anti-Trump and Anti-America hatred, but no one would stand for that. So, if the left want to get their message across, make sure people actually want to listen to it.
