????? I really think this opinion won't hold up under any kind of honest scrutiny.

I read that roughly 20 to 30% of the Syrian and Lebanese people have blue eyes; roughly 10% of Palestinians have blue eyes. Many Italians, especially northern Italians have blue eyes. Polish, Russian, Ukrainian, German Jews are all likely to have blue or light colored eyes. I don't know that there are any empirical studies showing more physical attraction of brown eyes to blue or vice versa.
