Well obviously, the problem here is that he has two serious strikes against himself:

1. He's not IM2's color, so isn't entitled to use any words he wants, say anything he wants, offend anyone he wants with impunity and protection.
2. He's conservative. Worse, he's actually making fun of liberals.

The risks were simply too great. White Nationalist (patriot) conservative speaking common sense about liberalism and progressivism. It was only a matter of time before he said something pro-Trump. Even if he didn't, just his being there might have suggested to the NBC-base a pro-Trump person getting inroads into the Hollywood community ---- ---- surely a fate worse than death.

At the very least, it could have wrecked their ratings and had leftists jumping off the roofs of their homes in mass suicide.
