We had a great chance of implementing ranked choice voting in Colorado. A ballot initiative was introduced and polling suggested 60-70% of voters favored it. But the DNC heard about it and went on a tear with negative ads. Republican leadership was also against it. They know it would undermine their power to control who we are "allowed" to vote for.I wouldn't mind seeing that implemented. I would agree with a change. I think that if the winner doesn't get 50 percent, a coalition government is formed. I'm also for the implementation of a vote of no confidence if a president is performing poorly. But it must be bipartisan with 80 percent of both houses in agreement.
