Grafted a bluetooth module into a 24 year old stock Chrysler stereo through the CD changer port. Was much easier than I though, an off the shelf Bluetooth receiver and a custom made cable and poof, streaming music in my son's 24 year old PT Cruiser while maintaining the stock dash look.

I'm quite pleased with my solution, lol.

You could have just bought one for 5 dollars.

More interested in the car.

I've already done a bit to it just because I can't leave shit alone, lol. added camber plates, some minor head work (minor is about all it can support) slightly modified fuel curves to support that, and replaced timing belt, radiator and transmission cooler lines while i had everything apart because those are known failure points.

Bought the car off some folks who purchased it new in 2002 when they were in their early 60s, the sold it to me in their middle 80s, only 60,000 miles. Looks like a new car after I gave it a good buffing.

It's a perfect fit for transporting my disabled kid. Low and easy for him to get in and out of, the small back seats fit his small frame perfectly, back doors open nearly 90 degrees for ease of access, and there's room in the back for a folded wheelchair. It's his car, but I drive it. I'm his chauffeur, lol.

Not much else to say about it, it's just a slightly odd looking economy car.

Apparently it doesn't get any love from the collectible car folks......found that rather odd.

/----/ Good for you.

That makes sense. Guess I never paid much attention.
The reason for modding rather than replacing was to keep the stock look. the original radio is rounded.

Best car i had was an RX-7
I always wanted one of those, but never found one In decent condition at the right time. They are cool cars though!

I had an RX-8, bought dirt cheap with bad apex seals and a coolant leak. Small blocked it, but it wasn't terribly driveable. too heavy in the front for any real handling.

Stereos from 2002 mostly don't have aux ports.

I want to install a usb port on my 1990 Bose Gold factory head unit.

I want a wire.

I could send it out to do it, but it can't be all that much of a little project to do myself.

Try this:

It's also got an aux cable input and it's designed specifically for your car
