No surprise whatsoever.:lmao::haha: :lmao::lmao::lmao::rofl::haha::haha::haha::rofl:

maybe the sheep here who seriously think the Raiders going to Vegas is such a great idea for the team and the city and keep saying it is such a good fit for them, will finally wake up and smell the coffee that what I been saying all along on my thread that this is the worst sports deal in sports HISTORY for a sports organization is indeed true.:biggrin:

William Foley, the billionaire owner of the NHL’s expansion team Las Vegas Golden Knights, is starting to look like a sucker, a hockey exec told On the Money.:lmao:ttp://nypost.com/2017/04/08/las-vegas-new-hockey-team-struggling-to-sell-media-rights/:lmao::rofl::rofl:

Remember,as this link says,THIS owner of this hockey team is a BILLIONAIRE,he is not dirt poor looking for a handout as Davis is yet even HE is already having a tough go of it he is finding out.lol.

Dont be one bit at all surprised in the least if Davis comes to his senses and changes his mind.lol. Matter of fact in case nobody has heard or followed the news lately on this,he IS having second thoughts on it it has been reported. I posted a link of it on my thread.
after he sees this news, just maybe he will come to his senses.lol.

there is a reason vegas has never had any professional sports teams.lol

I said all along,Vegas is such a small market it is a HUGE risk for ANY sports franchise to go there as this NHL owner is starting to find out.:D this is just the TIP of the iceberg for the problems he is going to start having in the upcoming years.

I tried to tell a certain vegas resident here how the Raiders going to vegas is the worst deal in sports history, that Davis will be in debt and be forcecd to sell the team within 5 to ten years being evicted unable to pay the landlord documenting it with links, but he is so much in denial on this it went through one ear and out the other. MAYBE when this hockey owner William Foley starts finding out how it was such a bad idea and goes into debt,he will FINALLY see the light.:D:lmao:

While there are certainly risks with putting a team in Vegas, there is a big difference between the two situations. To start with, the NHL is nowhere near on the level of the NFL as far as revenues and support. It's entirely possible that an NHL team will struggle in Vegas while an NFL team thrives. Another difference is that the NHL team is an expansion team, and those are usually pretty bad for at least a few years. The NFL team in Vegas will be the Raiders, a team on the rise and looking like it may be a playoff contender for some years. Hell, you can even look at the climate as a difference in potential success of the two teams; it may be harder to get support for an ice hockey team in the Nevada heat than for a football team.

Also, how can you describe Mark Davis as "dirt poor?" I've seen his personal worth estimated at $250-500 million.

NFL could fine players for arm wrestling at Las Vegas casino

LAS VEGAS — Apr 11, 2017, 2:57 PM
NFL players who participated in the Pro Football Arm Wrestling Championship at a Las Vegas casino could be fined by the league.

More than 30 professional football players were scheduled to compete at the weekend event held at the MGM Grand Hotel & Casino, according to a news release.

"We are looking into it, and we became aware of it as it was under way," NFL spokesman Brian McCarthy said in a telephone interview Tuesday. "A long-standing policy prohibits any NFL personnel from promotional appearances at a casino."

Any player who is in the league now would be in violation of that policy, which is laid out in a manual distributed to players and other employees before each season.

The entire city is one big casino, you have slot machines in airports, Gas Stations, McDonald's... How can they be so hypocritical and put a NFL franchise there?

Seriously, there are no real "mainstream" jobs in Vegas. There's gambling, prostitution, and services to support them.

What industry is in Vegas?

I actually found a few plastic manufacturing plants in the area looking for help, guess it has to do with Tesla in the state.

yep sure did my man..:lmao: I just did not want to post it here since the thread title is about the NHL owner already having problems in vegas.lol.

that is just one of MANY things WHY sports franchises have stayed away from that city.:D that is one of MANY problems that NHL owner is going to have to deal with there in the city.:lmao:

I mean this is something that happened in the OFF SEASON with NFL players, just think what will be going on on a REGULAR basis with these NFL and NHL hockey players in vegas REGULARLY.:muahaha::lmao::lmao::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::haha::haha::haha::haha::haha::haha::haha:\

What industry is in Vegas?

what the sheep here that keep saying vegas is such a great idea for sports franchises to come to dont have a clue about is that vegas is one of the most very poorest major cities in the country,if not the poorest.for sure in the top five.they have the worst education system they are so poor.they are so poor that most familys have to work TWO jobs to stay aflot,

the only people that will be coming to see the games out there are tourists and THAT is a major gamble cause most tourists that come are going to be out till the middle of the night and not want to get up early in the morning to go see a football game after being drunk the whole night or in the case of the hockey team, look for a lot of empty seats on the weekdays.:haha:

While there are certainly risks with putting a team in Vegas, there is a big difference between the two situations. To start with, the NHL is nowhere near on the level of the NFL as far as revenues and support. It's entirely possible that an NHL team will struggle in Vegas while an NFL team thrives. Also, how can you describe Mark Davis as "dirt poor?" I've seen his personal worth estimated at $250-500 million.

except you have not been following my raiders thread where I proved that the vegas deal for the raiders is easily the worst deal in sports HISTORY and a time bomb waiting to explode on the raiders and mark davis.it is a HIRRIBLE deal for vegas,a much worse deal than the hockey team.:haha:

there are a lot of sheep here that are in denial that the cheatriots have created the biggest scandal in sports history since the black sox scandal with scandal after scandal they keep bringing down on themselves.

I bet someday they will make a movie out it like they did with that other NFL scandal concussion.the cheatriots are the rich spoiled brats of the NFL that get special treatment. somehow pete rose gets banned for gambling but they get off scott free for cheating for years and years and doing something that effects the outcome of the game yet go unpunished.

the Raiders will have the exact same luck in Vegas they had in LA,with half empty stadiums all the time and if you can believe it,they will bomb even WORSE in vegs than they did in LA .:lmao:

that is IF they even wind up in Vegas. Had you been following my "the NFL is now able to not follow the rules they make up thread," you would know that the mayor and city of oakland have filed a lawsuit against mark davis and the NFL because they have broke five different rules set forth in relocation guidelines that were set in 97 after the rams and oilers left their cities for much smaller markets.

one of those rules is jus that one, that a team cannot relocate from a major big market to a much smaller one as is the case here with the raiders trying to go from the 5th biggest media market to the 44th smallest. that is just one of MANY relocation rules they have violated.Oakland has a VERY strong solid case against the NFL.they will take it to the supreme court if they have to.just because the owners ruled in favor of it,dont expect them to wind up in vegas.

what kind of a precedent will that be setting if the courts allow the NFL to break the rules that are written in stone? the NFL has already turned into a joke allowing this nonsense of both the chargers and raiders to leave their cities as well. NFL fans are sick of this bullshit.there is a major uproar about this not just in oakland but across the entire country. you just dont take the raiders out of oakland TWICE.

Oh and I have documented over on my Raiders thread how this is the worst deal in sports HISTORY not only for the Raiders but for the city of vegas as well.

Here it is in a nutshell WHY mark davis will be evicted from vegas and the raiders with nowhere to play within five to ten years. unlike that hockey owner who is building his own stadium with his OWN money, Bank of america is building the stadium for davis as you must know. as I said,Davis is looking for a handout because he cannot afford to build a stadium on his own dime as stan kronke of the rams is because he is not rich like kroneke. as you well know, banks dont just give you money out of the kindness of their own heart and expect nothing in return right?

they are going to want to collect from him.he will not be able to pay the bill.the stadium is over a billion dollars to build.davis has nowhere near that kind of capitol as you just pointed out.

as i said,FINANCIAL EXPERTS have said the raiders deal to vegas is the worst deal in sports HISTORY.It is a HORRIBLE deal for the city of vegas. that one vegas resident ignored all my links I posted where i took him to school on my raiders thread that this is a horrible deal for the city of vegas and mark davis and the NFL ,he ignored them all because the facts dont go along with his own warped opinions.:rolleyes:somehow financial experts opinions mean nothing to him incredibly.

you want to learn how this is the worst deal in sports history.welll you will just have to read through all my posts on my raiders thread where i took him to school.I am not going to repeat them here on this thread. I already gave you a glimpse of how i took him to school with ONE point.:D

I answered all that stuff you posted on my raiders thread.Like I said, you want answers to all the stuff you mentioned, you are just going to have to go over to that thread and read through my posts there on that thread.

You did make ONE good point here in your post here I will acknowledge and address.

you mention how much mark davis is worth, which is millions.well that is the key word there MILLIONS.

that is WHY he is dirt poor cause he doesnt make BILLIONS.

see if I was comparing mark davis how much he makes compared to US,then yeah, you are right,he would be hardly dirt poor.He makes more money than any of us here can possibly ever imagine having in our lietimes. However I am not comparing him to us,I am comparing him to the other owners. when he is compared to the other owners,he is dirt poor. that is because he is the "ONLY" NFL owner who is not a billionaire as you just proved.

that is WHY your buddies pooper and rightwingersis two morons, despite the HUNDREDS of times I told them on my rams thread the raiders would never be back in LA again because the owners not only dont like the davis family but MAINLY because they wanted an owner with deep pockets to be in LA "KRONEKE is the second richest owner behind seattles paul allen." they both STILL ignored those facts of mine with one of them idiot child and your lover WRONGwinger saying the chargers and raiders would be in LA in 2016,but your other lover pooper saying the Rams AND Raiders would be in LA in 2016.:lmao:

neither one of those chickenshiit coward lovers of yours will own up to it and admit they were wrong on their ramblings of the raiders being in LA as I have when i made that thread admitting I was wrong that the raiders would not go to vegas. why they are such cowards and cant admit and own up to being wrong as I did is pathetic.

also as I said before,Davis is NOW having second thoughts about Vegas.maybe he is finally starting to see the light and coming to his senses that the NFL approved the move because they know mark davis will fail miserably in vegas and be forced to sell the team cause word is,the owners want davis out of the league because he is not part of their billionaires club.:D

what you and thousands of NFL fans around the country dont understand is the NFL by letting davis go to vegas, thats like me and you being at an ocean and i come out of the water knowing there are sharks there but i dont tell you and I just let you go on there.well I have signed your death warrent by doing that. that is what the NFL has done with mark davis cause this is a time bomb waiting to explode on him AND the city of vegas.:lmao::haha::muahaha:

:haha::haha::haha::haha::haha::haha::haha::haha::haha::haha::lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao:

oh and at least in oakland, you dont have scam artists running the streets night and day that are looking to rip you off and destroy your life not to mention you dont have to worry about the players coming fresh out of college and missing the game the next day cause they were partying all night tempted by the sight and gamlbing.just look at the NFL players who RECENTLY got a warning from the NFL for arm wresting.:haha:
