Confusion over Labour’s energy policy after Starmer rules out nationalising big six
Leader blindsides Miliband by ditching pledge to support common ownership, and defends push to change Labour rules
Labour’s energy policy has been become mired in confusion after Keir Starmer blindsided shadow business secretary Ed Miliband by ruling out nationalising the big six energy companies.
But but but,Thatcher.
According to the Left, nationalisation is the Holy Grail. Blair et. al. didn't nationalise the utilities, and now UK sell out Starmer has ruled it out.
So here we go, once Labour gets spanked in the next election, the Left will start mouth frothing over nationalisation and Thatcher again. Happens every time!!!!! Oh, the Left will say Starmer is just a Tory. I think I'll go to the bookies and put money on that.
