So what you are saying is that this was just a fairy tale used to educate Hebrew children about the dangers of mind control from religion?the story of Adam and eve was just a literary tool, a fairy tale of sorts, to educate Hebrew children whose people just came out of hundreds of years of slavery in Egypt about the dangers of losing your mind, your sanity and awareness for life to cultic practices, the talking serpent, The Nachash, a direct reference to the pharaoh who wore a serpent on his head, the highest star of the ancient world and master at the magical arts, sorcery, what is now known as mind control
As opposed to being the foundation for deep discussions on such things as right and wrong, free will, human nature, etc.?
Seems like an anti-religious and secular interpretation to me. Do you have any supporting data for this conclusion?
I am not a religious person, even though I am paying them back in their own coin.
I can tell. I could have come up with about a thousand things that were more deep and intellectually challenging than your shallow and intellectually dead end interpretation.
