The Nazis wanted to confiscate ALL weapons from those who were not on their side.

Gun control in the US DOES NOT take away anyone's weapons. States are themselves putting bans on Assault like weapons to be sold to civilians.

There is a need for background checks.

A lot of Republicans are for all of these measures. This has nothing to do with focusing on the left and saying The LEFT, THE LEFT, THE LEFT.

The number of guns per person in the country is an irrelevant statistic. Like you I own many guns but I can only shoot one at a time, well maybe 2 but Im probably not very accurate with either if Im doing that.

Well, because it's not historically accurate.

Despite the "Socialist" work in the name of the NSDAP, they had reached an accommedation with Germany's capitalists, which is why Bayer, Krupp and all the other German Industries were able to make a killing off the war, until they lost.

But to the other point- There was no "gun control" in Nazi Germany. In fact, the Nazis repealed the Weimar gun laws.

And not one German with a gun rushed out to save his Jewish Neighbors from being taken off to the camps.
Just like not one American rushed out with his gun to keep his Japanese neighbors from being taken off to the camps.
