Heavy spoilers! Don't watch unless you've already seen it.
At any rate this is a prequel MOVIE to the first two seasons on the SERIES and it does an excellent job setting things up for season 3. Not only that but it is a pretty great movie in it's own right. It does take a bit to ramp up but the ending is immensely satisfying.
