Yes, it's because Muhammad is a very common name in Islam.

Not that Islam could not become a problem in the future in the UK. The UK is grounded in progressive rights, and Christianity has a history of being criticized and forced to adjust the extremism of its teachings to be more in line with progressive UK culture. The problem seems to be that this level of criticism does not seem to apply to Islam (and an imported version of Islam that hasn't been molded to UK views like Christianity has) for some reason. The problem with religion always tends to be that they try to enforce their beliefs on innocent people.

As of 2021, it's 6.5% of the population. Not enough to be making demands, yet. The current situation of the UK does seem to be pushing back a bit, and it seems this government is starting to take my more action vs the previous government that seemed to do nothing productive regarding immigration.

The main thing is, the UK is still the UK, and still the UK culture.

The UK and the US have had a close alliance for a long time. Probably the closest alliance of any two countries in a long time. The US and the UK are culturally quite similar.
